Stoic | Cold (seemingly) | Practical | Clever | Caring (when he gets to know someone well) |Protective

The reason for his cold disposition is because he doesn't want to get close to people in fear that they'll just disappear from his life one day. He doesn't know if he can bear that pain again. However, if he does get close to someone, he'll be more caring towards them and possibly open up more. He's also not one to walk up to someone first and talk to them, unless needed. And although he's cold, he's not really mean to people. He won't shove them off if they're in his way or "bothering" him with small talk or anything like that. He'll be polite enough. Just kind of distant. He is the protective though, so even if he just met you and all of a sudden a bunch of monsters come out of no where, he won't just leave you like "every man for himself." He'll make sure you're safe, too. But after he makes sure you're safe he'll probably just walk away and mind his own business. Lol.

[ History ]

He lived with his mom up until he was 18. He didn't know who his father was or where he was. He didn't know if he was dead or he just left. Mother never talked about him much. But he admired his mother. She taught him how to play the piano when he was little. He would play for her whenever she was sick or just wanted to relax. And when she listened, she would sit in the chair at the small table with a red rose in a blue vase on it, overlooking her red rose garden from the window right next to her (or if she was sick, she'd be in her upstairs bedroom but open the door so the music from downstairs would travel better).

Soon after he turned 18, his mother fell very ill. She had to stay in the hospital and Cyan would visit very often. On the day she died, she took off the locket he had never seen her without and she placed it in his hands. "I actually had this made when you were born. For you. But I thought the best time would be now to give it to you," she said as she looked into his eyes. He opened the locket. On the left was an indent for a picture, but it was empty. On the right, there was no indent, it actually curved outward. It had an engraving. "Never apart, together at heart." At the same time, the locket played the lullaby his mother would sing to him every night when he was a child. She also sang it to him now as it played. When it finished, she smiled at him and closed her eyes. For the last time.

She had left the house to him and that's where he had been living ever since. When he got back home that day, he found a picture of his mother sitting in that chair at the small table with a red rose in a blue vase on it. But she wasn't looking at her red rose garden. She was looking straight at the camera, smiling a motherly smile, with her hands on her lap. He placed that in the locket.

Ahh sorry my watchers, I haven't uploaded anything in over 3 weeks! I'm just so busy with summer work and I'm not even finished yet! I only have 5 days left and so much to do. I'm like freaking out ;A; But I really wanted to get into this group haha.}
